Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019) : Film Review
An impressive effort by Sunny Deol as Director Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is sure to win the hearts of fans of Sunny Deol and Dharmendra who make all efforts to present a new kind of love story with current generation.
Karan Deol, son of Sunny Deol, looks too cute in the film and sure to make an impact on the masses. Though his dialogue delivery and the expressions need to be polished. Sahher Bambba impresses much more than Karan as his love interest in the movie. She looks cute, good acting and gives lively performance. Meghna Malik as Ratna Narang leaves a lasting impression even with her small role. The performance of other supporting cast is also satisfactory.
The music by Sachet-Parampara and Tanishk Bagchi is not very impressive. Though a song “Ishq Chhaliya” is catchy the others are easily forgettable. Background score by Raju Singh is better.
The most impressive part of the film is its cinematography by Himman Dhameja and Ragul Dharuman. The scenary is breathtaking and a treat to the eyes. Anyone who has gone through the tracking at Manali is sure to feel nostalgic even though he or she must not have gone through this track which was neatly captured in the movie. The rappelling sequences are just amazing and motivates the audience to go for next adventurous outing at Manali. The safety features shown in the movie is surely going to generate confidence among audience to go for trekking.
At times, the film drags due to slow pace where nothing much is going on in the movie. The story also doesn’t have much twists and turns. The film is all out a new age romantic movie. It needs to be seen if it could create a magic like Betab or Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak or not. The issues currently prominent in the society has been taken up in the movie which may help to link it with the young audience.
