India wins by 203 runs in the 1st Test Match against South Africa which saw 5 wickets for 35 runs for Mohammed Shami for India. South Africa was all out for 191 runs. Earlier Rohit Sharma contributed 127 runs with world record of hitting highest sixes in a test. Rohit Sharma hit 13 sixes to surpass Wasim Akram’s 12 sixes, which he made against Zimbabwe in 1996. In this match Ravichandran Ashwin completed 350 wickets in test cricket joining Muttiah Muralitharan of Sri Lanka in his 66th test. India now leads by 1-0 in three test series.
