Maintaining Robust Health during Pandemic, COVID-19

The world is going through you very hard time and it is really important to keep oneself motivated and fit to overcome this phase successfully. Physical exercise and fitness helps in overcoming obstacles like stress and mental instability during this hard time. Physical activities and fitness play vital role in one’s life. It not only keeps you physical fit but also helps to maintain your mental, spiritual and emotional health.
Physical fitness is the ability to to carry out daily task (work and play) with vigour and alertness without undue fatigue and with ample energy to enjoy leisure – time pursuits and to meet unforeseen emergencies. Regular exercise impart various benefits to the body . It provides strength, flexibility, agility, speed, balance, good posture, mind body coordination etc. Meditation relaxes mind and gives peace, It improves your sleep quality, helps to keep away negative thoughts and overthinking.
Being physically active and fit holds utmost importance especially among today’s younger generation who is busy enjoying the leisure of mobile, laptop and tv at an alarming rate and are not active and spirited on a daily basis. In order to enjoy the beauty of life and to experience it to the fullest you must start getting involved in physical activities or exercise. A regular fitness activity improve the the absorption of nutrients by the body hence improving digestive process.
Take out time for your health, plan your workout from simple to complex, eat healthy diet. Use apparatus available at your your home like skipping rope, hoopla, fitness mat etc. Do a lot of home recreational activities. You can also watch videos related to fitness and cardio exercise.
Breathing exercise can also help you to enhance your lung capacity. Try to meditate, listening to music, dance, aerobics, zumba etc. It improve your daily fitness level.
In the end I would like to give a message to all my students stay home, stay safe, stay calm, stay positive, stay strong and stay healthy.
