Saaho: Film Review
Saaho will be known only for its action sequences. Apart from that it hardly has anything special. Only die hard fans of Prabhas can digest his acting. The worst part seems to be the dubbing of Prabhas dialogues. His dubbing delivers the sentences with a plain flow without any emotions and rhythm. The level of Saho is far below Bahubali for which Prabhas will be known forever. The heroine part, Shaddha Kapoor, looks beautiful but has little role in the storyline. The villain played by Chunky Pandey is a surprise performance and the best one in the film. Chunky Pandey has given new dimensions to his role with great dialogue delivery, looks and acting. Others are unimpressive except Arun Vijay, who justifies his presence very well.
The best part of the movie is the cinematography. The locations have been captured very well and create an awe on the screen. The background score by Ghibran is very impressive. The music by Badshah, Guru Randhawa and Tanishk Bagchi is encouraging. “Psycho Saiyaan” song is already leading the charts.
The twist and turns in the film are interesting and remind the abbas-mastan film style. The editing is good but the script fails to impress. Some parts of the storyline are not clearly understood and we can just forget about any justification of various scenes and sequences. One time watch for action sequences and Chunky Pandey.
